Admissions Requirements

At Michael's, we strive to make your enrollment easy. Please review the check list below and contact me personally - in Admissions - for an appointment to talk about you, your goals & educational needs and whether Michael's can help you reach them:

Admissions Documentation required by student to bring to appointment:

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate
  • Copy of Birth Certificate or Driver's License
  • Social Security Card
  • $150.00 non-refundable Application Fee

Financial Aid Documentation required by student to bring to appointment:

  • 2008 & 2009 Income Tax Forms** - 1040.1040A/1040EZ with W2's
  • Social Security Benefits for Household in 2008 & 2009 - if applicable
  • 2008 & 2009 AFDC/TANIF Information - if applicable
  • Scholarship Information or Forms - if received
  • Business Ownership - if you owned a business in 2008/2009 you are required to furnish a statement of what the business is worth today (assets, expenses, net worth)

** 2007 Tax Form or Information after June 30th

Financial Aid

Licensed to operate by the NH State Board of Barbering, Cosmetology & Esthetics, 2 Industrial Park Drive, Concord, NH @ http://www.nh.gov/cosmet & (603) 271-3608. The mission, and principle focus of this agency, is to protect public health, safety and welfare by regulating the practices of professional Barbers, Cosmetologists, Estheticians, and Manicurists. This agency qualifies and licenses individuals and businesses, establishes and enforces administrative rules and laws and provides information so the public may make informed decisions.

Accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, 4401 Ford Avenue-Suite #1300, Alexandria, Va @ http://www.naccas.org & (703) 600-7600 and approved for use of Federal Government Loan & Grant Programs.

Education can be financed in a variety of ways as well as set up Tuition Financing Plans. The school participates in Title IV Funding and the following programs:

  • Federal Pell Grants
  • Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grants (SEOG)
  • Federal Subsidized & Unsubsidized Stafford Student Loans
  • Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)

The school also participates in and/or is approved for training as follows:
